Wine Dinner at Isabella’s with our very special guest Mr. Nicola Biscardo and his wines. October 28th at 6:30 PM.
I was borne in Verona on January 12th, 1972 in a family of wine makers. Raised in the land of Amarone I took my first wine class at the age of nineteen while I was studying Political Science at the college. It did not take me long to realize that my way was to continue in the family business of selling wine, so I switched to wine studies and I attended the master at the Italian Association of the Guild of Sommeliers. Now I am a professional Wine Taster, a Sommelier, a member of The Society of Wine Educators and not a politician. I moved to United States in 1997 and I lived in New York to market and organize the distribution of Conexport, a private consortium that represent some of the best small producers from different wine regions of Italy.
Now I am back home in Verona, the city of “Romeo and Juliet” to spoil my vineyards and olive trees with my love and passion!!!

Moon”) and it owes its romantic name to the fact that a majestic oak tree once stood at the center of
the town and the Adige river that runs through the center of the valley here makes a turn that looks
like a half-moon when seen from the road. . This wine is a perfect companion to appetizer, poultry,

Italy, Regions like Sicily, Puglia and Campania become famous for their fruit production. Anything can
grow in those Regions from Mellon to Oranges, from Olive trees to Vines. Unfortunately the growers were
more focus on overworking the land producing millions of gallons of wine of average quality. About 10
years ago Nicola Biscardo and Gian Andrea Tinazzi joined forces and invested time, effort and passion to
produce wines in Sicily and Puglia Regions using their Northern Italian Style in wine making. The results are
products that combines the power provided by the Southern Italian sunshine and the elegance and the finesse
provided by a careful wine making oriented to high quality and limited production. Perfect with red meat,
game and aged cheese. Serve at 60°-64° F
